In 2022, Raiffeisen Bank Albania undertook an IT Transformation initiative to adopt a new Operating Model that incorporated key concepts of Platform Engineering, DevOps, and Team Topologies. As part of this transformation, a Data Platform was introduced to facilitate real-time transactions data processing for marketing campaigns. The implementation of this solution was a collaborative effort between BlueSoft and RBAL Engineers, utilizing the powerful capabilities of AWS Cloud Services.

RBI’s vision is to boost internal openness via APIs to enable superior customer experience, re-usability and innovation. Bluesoft together with RBI set the API governance practices, technical standards, and built API Management platform based on KONG API Gateway. BlueSoft designed APIs for key banking industry domains implemented by the Raiffeisen Bank International Group subsidiaries.

Nowadays many banks worldwide introduce new solutions for the sake of customer experience. Digital transformation of the banking sector is prevalent and resulted from the extremely demanding pace of keeping up with the most sophisticated applications tailored to specific business needs. Lending solutions do take a great part in this race and up-to-date applications enable customers to go through a lending process and get the desired amount of money just in a few minutes. Pursuant to the Payment Service Directive 2 (PSD2), banks have to provide a standardized API to enable third parties (TPP) to verify account information (AIS), available funds (CAF), and payment orders (PIS).To address the above assumptions, a solution has been implemented at ING Bank Śląski using the API Management product from BlueSoft, Agama API.

A heavily siloed analytical ecosystem caused issues in data integrity, consistency, and trust.

The project’s goal was to create a multi-cloud solution based on Amazon AWS and Alibaba clouds to allow our client entry with their services into the Chinese market.
