Do you want to know why are we excited to be at AWS re:Invent this year?
In the DevOps era, the tools that you are choosing are crucial. The only way to maximize productivity nowadays is the creation of seamless experience with chosen tools. BlueSoft works alongside AWS, so our presence in the place is a must!
re:Invent organizes creates a very helpful checklist to help you prepare for the event. Use these handy tips if you are coming. From there, it has a number of handy prompts to help you determine what you’re really looking to get out of the conference.
AWS Webinar Series
AWS created a webinar series to help you get ready for AWS re:Invent 2018. The first two episodes contain some good information on the approach to the event and some early information.
Registration is opened since 15 May 2018, so don’t wait any longer REGISTER!
As during the previous edition, there will be available special conference rate hotel rooms tied with the registration. Our advice is not to lose time and register as quickly as possible.
Planning your day out is essential to make the most of your week. Desired sessions can be located in different buildings, which can take a toll on your physical capabilities when considering hotels can be miles away from one another. Despite physical capabilities, traveling takes time, and there is never enough time in a day! So plan wisely!
“The campus shuttles run continuously, on direct routes, to and from our campus venues – Aria, Bellagio, Encore, MGM, Mirage, The Venetian, and the re:Play venue – during the posted schedule. Plan ahead for peak travel times before and after major events such as Midnight Madness, Meals, Welcome Reception, Keynotes, Pub Crawl, and re:Play.
Your re:Invent badge is required to ride campus shuttles.”
“Bootcamps are an opportunity to hone existing skills and learn new ways of working with AWS. This year, we’re offering Technical Bootcamps, Business Bootcamps, Partner Bootcamps, and AWS Certification Exam Readiness Bootcamps. Bootcamps are offered Monday and Tuesday, and run either half a day (8AM—12 Noon and 1PM—5PM) or for a full day (9AM—5PM).”
“Workshops are two-hour, hands-on sessions where you work in teams to solve problems using AWS. Workshops organize attendees into small groups and provide scenarios to encourage interaction, giving you the opportunity to learn from and teach each other. Each workshop starts with a 10–15-minute lecture by the main speaker, and the rest of the time is spent working as a group. There are additional AWS experts in the room to make sure every group gets the assistance they need.
Come prepared with your laptop and willingness to learn! We will provide any AWS credits you may need.”
