RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Delivery:

  • understanding a client’s enterprise architecture and advising on the selection of optimal solutions tailored to the client’s needs;
  • designing the architecture of the solution as well as supporting analyzing and creating functional requirements 
  • overseeing projects from a data-flow perspective, suggesting best practices and standards for a given functionality
  • work as a key member of the core team to support the timely and efficient delivery of critical entire data-ecosystem components (end-to-end from ingestion to data execution layer)

 

Competence Center Development:

  • supporting Managers in terms of developing the Competence Center internal/external skills and expertise
  • recognition and assessment of new technologies, tools, and software in the area of data processing in terms of use within the organization and projects carried out for clients;
  • conducting internal and external workshops/training for engineers in data-processing area

 

Sales and Business Development:

  • participating in the sales process with technical expertise to support the Managers
  • hosting discovery workshops/meetings in order to follow up with architecting and initial scoping solutions
  • building relationships and close cooperation with the client, project manager, and business area experts to implement projects effectively;

 

Personal Development:

  • Expand your technical T-Shaped oriented journey in the data-ecosystem (DWH/BI, Big Data, Cloud, Data Governance)
  • Building your personal brand through certifications/meetups/conferences and trainings.

REQUIREMENTS

 

Must-have:

  • 5+ years of experience in area of data processing (Big Data/DWH/Cloud)
  • 3+ years in leading/scoping projects
  • 2+ years in supporting role in pre-sales/sales processes
  • Experience with Cloud data processing based on MS Azure (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, etc.)
  • Knowledge about design and architecture patterns (Lambda, Kappa, Fast-Data, etc.)
  • Programing skills (SQL, Python, Spark, Scala or other)
  • Experience working in agile methodologies
  • Fluent English (min C1 level)

 

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in Big Data technology stack (Apache Hadoop, Kafka, Flink, Cloudera, etc.)
  • Experience in Data Visualization area (BI or Dashboards toolset)
  • Experience in Advanced Data Analytics (ML/AI, Predictive Analytics, Data Science)
  • Familiar with DataOps approach
  • Being familiar with Data Governance foundations (e.g. DAMA-DMBOK).
  • Presentation skills for business decision makers and C-Level executives
