Project Description: 

We are looking for a Consulting Manager to help us grow in the Life Science business vertical.  

The perfect candidate has a solid technical background but is focusing rather on providing solutions to the client’s changing business needs. 

In BlueSoft, Consulting Manager is involved in the whole process of software delivery, starting from pre-sale engagement through the support of the dedicated team and Scrum Master or Project Manager till the successful implementation and project closure.  

Consulting Manager 

  • Responsibility for achieving business objectives in the assigned business area/department;
  • Planning and conducting sales work and supervising the implementation of projects in the assigned area;
  • Responsibility for the quality of projects in terms of content, finance, and controlling;
  • Responsibility for maintaining relationships with clients;
  • Responsibility for developing the competencies of the team in accordance with the company/area plan;
  • Partner with company’s HR Team and company leadership on candidate recruitment and hiring;
  • Defining a technology road map with organization & business goals envisioning the tech stack required to scale the business with a long-term technology vision;
  • Entrepreneurial drive and have hands-on experience in leading & building the Engineering team;
  • Planning, execution, and implementation of projects, inclusive of the day-to-day project management, scope management, issue and risk management, and regular status reporting;
  • Building market position and business relationships by screening and analyzing potential business ideas, deals, and market strategies;
  • Understanding client’s business needs for defining engineering solutions;
  • Supervising a team of workers, while working closely with management, external vendors, and advisors;
  • Preparing financial budgets and presenting proposals for capital projects to senior executives;
  • Researching and recommending new products;
  • Identifying new market opportunities;
  • Leading efforts to improve IT processes. 


  • Broad working knowledge in Software Engineering leadership is required;
  • Experience leading a team of a technical nature is required;
  • Deep experience managing agile teams;
  • Deep hands-on technical expertise; previously worked as a senior software engineer;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Polish and English and ability to make engaging presentations and respond quickly to clients and stakeholders;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences or equivalent is required; Master’s Degree is preferred;
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical Team Lead experience leading Technical teams;
  • Minimum of 5 years managing a Software Engineering team;
  • Experience in building a Software Engineering team;
  • Proven experience as IT director or similar role;
  • Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications;
  • Experience in controlling information technology budget;
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
