The ambition of Orange Business was to merge various sets of LAN and WLAN inventory data into a single, unified view, and to implement an automated data management approach. The goal was to achieve a complete and reliable network device inventory, enabling efficient planning and tracking, as well as activating monitoring, reporting, and auditing capabilities.
The foremost and biggest challenge was the complexity of the business logic embedded in the original procedures and views. There was no consolidated perspective on data gathered from numerous sources. The overall process required many manual steps for performing services, maintenance, and reporting operations.
