The Financial Shield of the Polish Development Fund is a Program adopted by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers created to protect entrepreneurs and employees of companies affected by the effects of the coronavirus epidemic. The program worth nearly PLN 100 billions provides, among others co-financing employees’ salaries, exemption from ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) contributions, early repayment of loans, preferential financing in the form of loans, or debentures or investment financing in the form of covered capital instruments.
The quick and efficient launch of the Financial Shield was possible, among others, thanks to the involvement of BlueSoft, who was responsible for creating a system enabling entrepreneurs to submit applications for subsidies.
BlueSoft as the preferred PKO FINAT supplier together with PKO FINAT, acting on behalf of the Polish Development Fund, performed the necessary analyzes at a record pace, created and delivered a ready, fully functional system. Thanks to the commitment and experience of BlueSoft employees, we managed to launch a system in two weeks, a system that will allow companies to obtain specific financial assistance based on a form filled out via electronic banking.
On Tuesday, April 28, the program was notified to the European Commission. After the technical implementation of the European Commission recommendations, the acceptance of applications began on 29 April 2020 at 6 pm.
