Challenge

The international Orange recruitment team operating across 5 countries faced a growing challenge:

An overwhelming volume of applications — up to 600 CVs for a single job posting — across diverse roles ranging from sales associates and marketing specialists to IT experts, was making the traditional selection process increasingly inefficient.

Recruiters were spending an average of 3–5 minutes per CV, which translated to many hours of manual work per recruitment cycle, hindering their ability to focus on candidates with the highest potential. Additionally, different teams were applying different approaches, leading to inconsistent processes.

Solution

BlueSoft implemented the KnowMe solution

– specifically, an advanced AI Matching module that supports Orange’s central recruitment team, the Talent Acquisition Factory, in automating and standardizing the recruitment process across five countries, regardless of the language used.

KnowMe provides:

  • A tool for analyzing CVs against job requirements at every level (entry, regular, senior).
  • A matching mechanism that identifies relevant skills even when they’re not explicitly stated (e.g., recognizing Spring knowledge as an indicator of Java proficiency).
  • Suggestions for interview questions tailored to each candidate.
  • Integration capabilities with ATS platforms and support for CVs in various formats and languages.
  • Competency verification based on actual professional experience.

Importantly, KnowMe analyzes every CV consistently, checking compliance with job requirements in a fair and unbiased way.
